2021 HEARTLAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COURSE
Registration to attend the 2021 Heartland Economic Development Course is now open. Both classes are already half full, so early registration is encouraged! Heartland will be offering two courses this spring and those dates are: Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 16, 2021 and Monday, April 19 through Thursday, April 22, 2021. The 2021 Heartland course will take place at the Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs, MO (Kansas City area). For more information visit their website at www.bcs.uni.edu/heartland. This course is typically the entry-level program for professionals who work in the field of economic development in the public and private sectors. HEDC offers five days of training in the basic concepts, information, methods and strategies of local economic development. Graduation from Heartland fulfills one of the education prerequisites for those who wish to go on and obtain their Certified Economic Development (CEcD) credentials.
