The director will be responsible for retention and expansion of our existing businesses, attracting new businesses that complement existing businesses, along with pursuing grant opportunities. The director reports to the Bourbon County Economic Development Council (BEDCO), a not-for-profit supported by the county budget. A bachelor's degree in economic development, public or business administration, marketing, or finance is preferred. Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) is desired.
