GRAHAM COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT will be hiring for the “Coordinators” position, with a Start Date in Mid-January 2025.

Under the administrative supervision of the Graham County Commission, the Community Development Coordinator is an exempt position under FLSA. The coordinator serves as the Lead Department for Graham County in the area of all Economic Development efforts. This includes: Business Development, Community Development in the areas of Housing Development, Leadership Development, Health & Wellness, Infrastructure & Beautification, Youth Development, as well as Workforce Development, Travel & Tourism Development and Ag. Development.

       The coordinator will continue to develop, with the assistance of the Graham County Commission, the Cities of Bogue, Hill City and Morland, as well as the Community of Nicodemus, the vision for said Cities/Communities. The coordinator will manage a comprehensive and effective Community Development program incorporating this vision and work closely with the Business Community, Business attraction prospects, Regional, State and Federal Agencies and other Resource Partners in the efforts for the overall improvement of Graham County.  Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications, and includes:  KPERS, Health Insurance and Paid Time Off (PTO).

The existing Coordinator will stay on for a period of 30-60 Days to ensure a smooth transition and allow for training of the New GCCD Coordinator.
